Important Notes

WindSword Software Research (WindSword) can accept payment for all services and products in US dollars ($), euros(€) and other major currencies; prices on application. VAT will be added to all orders from within the EU.

WindSword reserves the right to alter all prices without prior notice. All prices quoted here are the current VAT-exclusive prices, except where noted, in pounds sterling, E.&O.E.

Any prices shown in currencies other than pounds sterling are subject to movements in exchange rates and will be revised accordingly. Customers outwith the UK are responsible for the payment of any import duties and other taxes which may be due in their own country. The information given here does not constitute an offer to supply goods or services. Full terms and conditions are provided on the relevant order forms.

In all cases where a VAT-inclusive price is quoted for our customers’ convenience, this assumes the current VAT rate of 17.5%; the VAT rate may be changed at any time and is outwith WindSword’s control and therefore VAT-inclusive prices should not be construed as ‘quoted prices’.

Goods will only be shipped on receipt of cleared funds (cheques drawn in pounds sterling on UK banks should clear in 7 days, other cheques in 28 days), unless credit arrangements have been made. UK universities may purchase on credit, providing an official order number is sent with the signed contract.

Anyone ordering any goods or services will be deemed to have read and agreed to the terms quoted here.

The WindSword Sound Processor

Note that the per copy price applies where payment is made in accordance with the instructions given on the order pages and where there is electronic delivery of software and registration key, and a printed VAT receipt is not required.
Special handling applies per order in addition to the per copy price, when a CD and/or printed VAT receipt is required or the registration key is not to be delivered by e-mail, together with any relevant carriage costs for CD delivery.
 
VAT will be added at the rate applicable to the transaction.

†Note that additional licences may only be purchased with, or following, the purchase of a physical copy of the WindSword Toolbar Editor. Additional licences are for the use of additional copies of the same physical copy, and are subject to the same licence conditions as the original copy to which they relate. Clients wishing to purchase additional licences must quote the original order licence number.

Web Site Design Service

The basic rate for a custom-designed site built specifically to meet the client’s specifications, excluding the special offers we make from time to time, is £75 per billable hour + VAT (where applicable), or $112 (US) per billable hour. This rate is varied for work out of normal hours and ‘emergency’ work, and does not include other billable expenses.

WindSword also offers a budget site-design service. The charges for this covers the preparation of the site for the client, including incorporation of the client’s content.‡ Should you wish arrangement of domain name(s), web hosting, or any other services, we will be pleased to undertake these services, fees by arrangement.

‡It is the responsibility of the client(s) to ensure that they are entitled under the laws of copyright to the use of any graphics, photographs, animations, logos, sound files, streamed audio or video, or any other type or item of content supplied to WindSword for incorporation in the client’s or clients’ Web site(s).

Consultancy Services

WindSword offers consultancy services in image analysis, software development, the Internet, and translation. Because of the extreme specificity of such work, each consultancy contract is individually costed.

Technical Support Services

1. Product Support: Where an updated version of any WindSword software is issued within 60 days of your purchase of the earlier version, you will receive the update free of charge. Should your software fail to perform according to specifications within the warranty period, WindSword shall endeavour to identify and fix the problem.
2. Extended Technical Support: WindSword offers two levels of Extended Technical Support (E.T.S.), each payable by annual subscription commencing with the purchase of the software. E.T.S. may be supplied either to a named individual or on a site-wide basis (price on application). Single user E.T.S. costs are as follows (for details on the support offered in Level 1 and Level 2 ETS, please see the ETS page):

Carriage charges quoted are for single items, E.&O.E., and are subject to VAT where applicable. For information on carriage charges for multiple items, please contact WindSword directly.
